Northgate District Association Announces Headliners for 2007 Northgate Music Festival
College Station, Texas, March 20, 2007 – The Northgate Music Festival, presented by the City of College Station and Budweiser, has released the full lineup for the 2007 event.
The Northgate Music Festival is the oldest music festival in the Bryan + College Station area. This year’s headliners include: Sister Hazel, Flickerstick, Honeybrowne, Phil Pritchett, the Blaggards, Ingram Hill, Max Stalling, Minority, Alien 8, Binge, Brandon Ryder, Junior, Damesviolet, Green River Ordinance, the Feds, Space Cadets, the Vanished, and Mysterious Ways.
“This is our largest festival to date,” says Amanda Brinlee, Event Coordinator of the 2007 Northgate Music Festival. Amanda has provided leadership for the festival for the last three years by volunteering and serving on the Executive Committee. “We are excited about the wide variety of music and the immense amount of support we’ve received from the bands, the venues, and our sponsors. We are thrilled to be able to host a festival that gives back to the community.”
The festival runs March 22nd through the 24th from 7pm to 2am each night. The event features over 100 bands on multiple stages, including a main outdoor stage along the famous Northgate promenade.
Advance purchases of wristbands are $20 each and may be purchased either online or at The Corner, Fitzwilly’s, O’Bannons or The Chicken. Wristbands purchased at the event are $25 each and the ticket booth will open daily at noon during the Event. Wristbands are good for all three days of the Festival. Because alcohol will be served at all restaurant/bar venues, including the main stage, attendees must be 18 or older to buy a 3-day pass. In addition, one-day passes are available at the event for $15 each.
On Saturday afternoon, from 4-7pm, the main stage will invite those under 18 to hear live music for only $5. This is a great chance for bands with younger members to perform before a crowd.
Over 25 bars/restaurants/businesses in Northgate support the festival, yet only five will require wristbands for entry during the event.
The Northgate Music Festival is a rain-or-shine event. No refunds will be issued. Hosted by the Northgate District Association, the festival is proud to offer the most diverse and eclectic music selections in the entire Brazos Valley: rock, country, alternative, singer/songwriter, punk, and Christian.
In addition, this event supports a good cause! The festival benefits the Boys and Girls Club, the Brazos Valley Childrens’ Museum, and Scotty’s House.
This event is made possible by these generous sponsors: Budweiser and Jack Hilliard Distributing, the City of College Station, Candy 95.1 FM, KORA 98.3 FM, XSC, the Tradition, Maroon Weekly, AgniTEK, KEOS 89.1 FM, KANM 1690 AM, Freebirds, Dominos, As You Wish, and Cubby Hole.
