Class of 2010 Senior Ambassadors Wanted

As You Wish photography is seeking Senior Ambassadors from the Class of 2010.

Selected applications will get a free senior session, prints, products, and more!

Senior Ambassadors are the “face” of As You Wish photography for high school Juniors and Seniors. The role of the Senior Ambassador is to promote As You Wish photography to your classmates and friends. We are seeking a small team of friendly, outgoing students.

Selected students will receive a free Senior package:

free senior portrait session (a $400 value!)
free “Senior 2010″ 4 x 6 postcards (a $200 value!) with your favorite images; share these with friends, tuck them into invitations, etc.
free social media images for facebook, iPods, mobile phone wallpaper, etc.

I was honored and privileged to have been selected by another local professional photographer to be the lead photographer for her daughter’s wedding. Three of us arrived on scene to “paparazzi” Ashely & Freddie Norwood-Wallace and their family and friends.

Below are my favorites among the images I took during the day. Dennis, Daniela, and I worked as a true team, so the images I have are mostly candids during the formals, images from the ceremony, and stills from the reception. Dennis’ forte’ is portrait lighting so he has the formal images that I posed. Daniela’s talents lie in the details, so she has the macro images of the bride’s attire and the decor. We made a great team, and it was a blast working as a threesome.

First Look

Ashely & Freddie agreed to a First Look at their venue. The first time they saw each other was just the two of them—and all three of us out of earshot with our long-range lenses—-creating a truly romantic moment that they will undoubtedly remember forever. The look on Freddie’s face is priceless. (And doesn’t she look great in that amazing dress? You should see the images from her bridal session that Kathy took. What a special and private moment for them to cherish.

Ceremony

The ceremony was full of lines of scripture coupled with real-life examples of how they can be applied to today’s society.

Brother Joe gave a wonderful wedding talk.

Freddie and Ashley chose to seal their covenant with a traditional kiss.

Reception

The reception included a wonderful dinner, followed by many sweet family moments, and copious dancing!
