Guest Book options

December 22nd, 2006 · No Comments

Guest books no longer have to be the traditional white book with a feathered pen. If you are excited about something unique, consider a guest photo book. There are several options.

  • Allow to use your engagement images to create photo pages where guests can sign next to the image of you and across the scenery in that image. This digital photo guest book option starts at just $ 65 for a leather book with an inset cover photo and 20 pages for lines.
(lines do not render well in thumbnail view; click for larger image.)

a vignette around the couple keeps them rich in color and bright on the page

a washed background image allows signatures to remain legible

  • Use a scrap book. Yes, a scrap book. While As You Wish takes formal images of you and your party and family back at the ceremony site, have an honored guest take a photo of each guest/couple/family entering the reception. Give each individual/group a 12×12 scrapbook page with a rectangle reserved for the 5×7 image of their photo. Give them acid-free pens and allow them the freedom to go wild. They will write sweet notes, and even draw pictures. The result is a one-of-a-kind treasure.

Regardless of what guest book you choose, make sure it reflects your style and tastes. Do not be sold on what is “supposed” to be unless you feel that that is a reflection of you.
